[Web] Adding Ingredient / Item

To use the Stock/Inventory Management feature, then the most important thing you should do is to enter the ingredient / item every menu served. Make sure you’ve created an ingredient / item category to make grouping easier. In Meeber POS there are two ways to manage the stock of ingredient/item, namely through Meeber POS mobile application and website dashboard.

Instead of proceeding it through Meeber POS application, you can also set the item / ingredient/item via Dashboard. Previously you have to access the website of Meeber POS at https://meeberpos.com then log in the account by clicking Sign in at the top right of the website. In the sidebar on the left, select Master Data. Here’s how to add ingredients / items via web dashboard:

  1. Select Master Data menu
  2. Click Itemitem
  3. Click Create Item on the top right

  4. Write the name of the ingredient / item along with the unit of measure of ingredient, such as gram, kilogram, liter, and others

  5. Select the appropriate ingredient / item category
  6. Type also the purchase price of ingredient/item as well as the quantity / quantity of ingredients put into the warehouse / kitchen
  7. Enable ‘Enable Item’ so that ingredient / items can be counted every time there is a menu processing using the ingredient
  8. If you want to bring up a notification when the ingredient stock is running low, enable Enable Warning. After that also specify the limit of the amount of ingredient/item in which the warning will appear
  9. Click Save
